Well, it is Saturday morning, on what would be a holiday long weekend, that is, if I didn't have to work today. One of the many joys of working at a car dealership is the fact that you get to be open on most holidays other places are closed. Usually, we are open the last Saturday of every month, but if we know a holiday is going to be during that last weekend, our old manager would just have us work the Saturday before the last one. Not our new manager though. He likes working. How nice for him.

When I was at work yesterday, I got a wicked bad headache and stomach ache. So, I went to bed a bit before 11 last night. Just my luck, I woke up this morning, and I still have the headache as well as the stomach ache. Because so many people have already threatened not to show up at work today because it is a holiday weekend, the manager has threatened that he will make an example out of anyone who chooses not to show up. So, I'm hoping if I buy some excedrin on the way to work and down some coffee, I will feel better by 3 when I get to come home.

Yesterday, we got "Lady Snowblood: Love song for vengeance" from Netflix. I started watching it last night, and just finished the rest this morning. I thought it was really good. Of course, it can't compare to the first like everyone online keeps saying, so I didn't compare them and truly enjoyed this sequel for the bright red gushes of blood, the cool back story, and of course my favorite gal, Miss Lady Snowblood: ) Phil changed our account so now we get two at a time instead of just one movie at a time. That should help us get through our list quicker. The other day we got Starship Troopers 3 Marauder. It was pretty silly, but it was also similar to the first one which I liked, so all in all good fun. I think next on the list we should be getting The Lost Boys 2 or Payback The Directors Cut.

I just hope today goes by fast so I can come home and go back to sleep. Headaches and stomach aches need to go away.

Have a good Holiday weekend guys, and I'll be back to chit chat later I'm sure!

Warning about Facebook!

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let everyone know that a few weeks back, I created a Facebook account. Since then, three trojan virus's have shown up on my laptop. This is the only new website I have visited, and so I must conclude that it is Facebook related. If you do have a Facebook account, please install virus protection software such as ad aware or spybot search and destroy. I will no longer be visiting my profile on Facebook either, just in case you were wondering why it has suddenly become dormant.

As for everything else, all is well. The vacation is coming to a close, and I cannot fathom going back to work. It just fills me with a sense of dread knowing that I have to wait another year before I can take another vacation. Well, if I make it there another year, that will be two years, which means two weeks of paid leave. Ah, won't that be sweet.

Phil and I have enjoyed doing absolutely nothing all week except playing video games, reading, and watching tv and movies. Today is the first time since last Saturday I have worn anything other than pj's. It has been awesome indeed. Maybe now Phil will finally buy us a lotto ticket so we can do this everyday: ) Well, at least for a few weeks, and then of course jet set off to all the places we have been dying to see, and opening our own spooky goodies shop when we got back: )

I am just keeping up with Myspace and Livejournal friends for now before I watch Kamaikaze girls. I hope it is good, because it looked super cute from the previews!

Tata for now. Enjoy your lovely day, and here's to wishing my workplace burns down before Monday arrives!

This Hollow World is holding on to me

Hey kiddies,

Today is a happy day, because today is Phil's 26th birthday! Yay! Sure, I had to remind him that it was in fact his birthday, and that he was in fact 26, but happy day none the less!

As soon as we woke up, I gave him his card and present. As always I am way more excited for him to open his gift than he is to open it. I am bad when it comes to patience in that way. I got him a cool black and gold Bastet statue to add to the ever growing Egyptian collection, and he liked it. Now, Phil is playing Lego Star Wars and I am sitting here sipping my Mountain Dew and catching up with various social networks. One is never enough you see. I have Myspace, Facebook, Livejournal, and Vampire Freaks. I attempted to delete the Vampire Freaks one, because that one is lame and people there are pretty much just Emo kids wanted to be rated on how "pretty" they are, but for whatever reason, it won't let me delete my account. So, I guess I will just never go visit it: ) The only thing I do like about Vampire Freaks is the fact that all of my favorite bands are on there, so it is a cool place to go to if you want to check out gothc and industrial music.

I can't even begin to express how great this week has been. Phil and I both being able to stay up late, sleep in, and just be lazy as hell has been awesome. Work seems like a distant memory now, and I could definitely live with not ever having to go back there. I attempted applying for some jobs online over the course of this week as well, but haven't heard back yet. Ah well, there is always hope. For the time being, I bide my time there sticking with my budget and getting my bills paid. Once all the bills are paid, it won't matter if the next job I get pays less, because I won't be paying out as much each month and could perhaps find something that doesn't make me want to hang myself everyday when I wake up: )

I was starting a Hellraiser marathon yesterday, and once I got to Hellraiser 3, I decided to watch this little thing in the special features section about Clive Barker. It was an interview that was very old, but he is just such an awesome guy and incredibly smart. I agree with so much he had to say, and the guy is a genius in my book: ) I just hope he keeps putting out awesome artwork and books and movies. I think it blows how his latest film, "Midnight Meat Train" got treated. The movie looked awesome, and I can't wait to rent it on Netflix. Speaking of Netflix, I hope Kamikaze Girls arrives today. I am very excited to see it! I guess most of the movies I pick are not available at our local Netflix warehouse, so it takes longer to get them. That probably has to do with the fact that I like a lot of weird asian films, but hey, I can wait a few extra days: )

Well guys, have a great day! If you are working, I am very sorry for you and I hope your day goes by quickly! Unless of course, you actually like your job, which in that case, where do you work, how much do they pay you per hour, and are they hiring ha ha

Am I awake...or still dreaming.....

Well, the weekend has been great so far. Friday, Phil and I watched Masters of Horror until about 1 in the morning, and then went off to sleep. Then, we got up early yesterday morning, and headed out to Wendy's for breakfast/lunch. Around 11:30a.m., we got to Comic City in Novi to visit with our friend Gretchen and keep her company as there was this huge loser there who wrote an autobiographical comic book about his life there all day. After hearing him describe the comic to about five or six customers, I was ready to hang myself. I felt terrible for her, as we stuck around for a few hours, but knew he would still be there lurking to bore her to death for another hour. There was a very adorable little bat that Gretchen named Bruce on the brick wall outside of the store. It was so small and fuzzy, and I wanted to pet him. Phil convinced me otherwise as bats are prone to rabies, but then again, I love zombies so much, what's closer to being a zombie than getting rabies? Maybe I will go back and pet Bruce after all......

After that, we headed to Best Buy so Phil could use the $50 gift card my parents got him for his birthday. He ended up getting the Star Wars Lego's complete Saga for the PS3 with the Gift Card, he bought me Kill Bill, and we found a sweet gift for Joy which he bought and will more than likely save for her for Christmas: )

After going online for a few hours at home, I headed out to pick up my best bud Suz for a girls night out. She was very kind and took me to Chili's for dinner. After dinner, we went to Pet Co to visit the Kittens and the reptiles and the mice and rats. Man, those mice and rats are so adorable: ) There were also ferrets, and now I see what people mean when they say those little bastards smell. Damn!

After that, we went back to Suz's house, drank a Mike's hard iced tea(very good by the way and doesn't taste at all of alcohol) and watched that new Nancy Drew movie. It was pretty goofy, but for a kids movie like Suz said, it had a great message for kids about being honest and kind and always doing the right thing. After that, we watched some Justin Timberlake on SNL and then a bit of Napoleon Dynamite before I headed off home. Phil was still playing Metal Gear Solid 4 when I got back, and he is actually playing it right now as well. He has only been playing for two days, and I am sure he will have the game beaten by this evening. Ah well, we have star wars and Soul Caliber 4 to keep busy with next.

Today we woke up and watched the last few episodes left of Masters of Horror season one. I really liked them all. Now we can start watching season 2: ) I have spent most of the day reading a book that Suzanne let me borrow titled "The Almost Moon" I am only about 100 pages in, but it is good so far.

Having this week off is going to be great for reading, as I have plenty of time to read and get the house cleaned up and just relax in general. Not working is always a good thing.

Well, just thought I'd come by and post about my weekend in case anyone was curious. You all enjoy your weekends!

I am a wicked girl who has done wicked acts

So, here we are my sweets, another Saturday to lounge around the house, kick up our feet, and catch up with one anothers lives via Myspace and Livejournal.

This past week at work has been very trying, and I find myself more and more disgusted with those in charge. It is getting harder for me to come to work each day and not allow myself to be taken in by the vast ocean of hypocrisy which surrounds me. The owner of our dealership has employed a cleaver theif as our General Sales manager. He comes in under the guise of being a baptist preacher, an honest man who wants to do what is good and right for people because he cares.

Yup, I saw right through that body of water right down to the sandy ocean floor.

This man is dishonest, arrogant, and cares for no one. This is nothing new to the car business, but I think what annoys me most is how he goes about hiding behind being a preacher and a man of God, while blatantly abusing his "beliefs" and faith to justify his actions. He has had many wholesalers coming in to the dealership. Our last General Sales manager was a kind and honest man, who no shock here, was fired. He only had one wholesaler, and that was the wholesaler for all three of our dealerships, so he was also an honest man who wasn't looking to make money on the side. Both men simply came to do their jobs and make an honest living. This new GSM is making a profit on the side with all of these vultures, and ripping the owner of our business off blind by hiding charges and expenses in new car front end and back end money.

Could I say something to bring this to her attention and end this charade you may ask?Certainly I could, but I am also a firm believer that if you get yourself in a mess, then you deserve what comes to you and you will have to find your own way out of it.

Now, my good friend Sam, the Finance Manager, has not been fired, but "demoted" to a sales associate, because his numbers were "low". Actually, his numbers have been really great for the last five months, considering our dealership does no business. He is the one who has kept us open, as we have had to give our cars away most times and take a huge hit profit wise just to get our numbers up and keep the inventory moving.

Now, our GSM has placed his right hand man Dominic in the Finance Manager position. Not just new car either. Used Car and Special Finance as well. That way, they can sneak products and warranties into customers contracts, and get them to sign for much higher interest rates and products they did not buy so that these slime balls can make a profit while coninuing to sink the integrity and reputation of my place of work. After five or six months, when the owner finally starts to notice that the numbers just don't seem to add up, he and his bottom dwellers will move on to the next dealership like a virus, and we will be left with few other options than to close the doors after 20 plus years of being in business. The car market is a tough business to be in, always uncertainty, especially in these economic times. I was told by a co worker "You are a very talented young lady with many skills. Get out now while you still have time to consider your options". Always nice going in to work knowing you work for scum, and knowing that being an honest person can cost you your job.

It's not as though Internet Sales is my dream job. Matter of fact, I don't care for it at all. But, it does pay the bills, just as the next job will. I always have my eyes open, seeing what else is out there, what might pay better.

Today the hubby and I will be heading out to The Dragon's Crossing to visit with the new parents and pick up some things he ordered a while back. Tonight we are heading to Nicole and Matt's house for dinner and game night. That ought to be quite fun as we haven't seen them in a month or more. Of course, Nightmare Sinema will be on tonight, and Phil even wants to watch it as they are playing "King Kong VS. Godzilla".

I am quite hungry, and feel like watching some more X Files episodes. Have a good day and rest of the weekend, and regardless of what happens, never stop being a dreamer. Even when it feels like there is no room left for us in this world, this world will be our someday.

Oh Saturday, where hast thou been????

Jesse
Here we are....another Saturday. It felt so good to sleep in and not be woken by an alarm clock. I got really tired towards the end of the week at work, and my new chair they gave me is killing my back and making the back on my neck go numb. Ah well, just gives me a reason to leave my little office more for fresh air and coffee breaks.

I have beem up since 9a.m., and can honestly say that I have now been online for 5 hours. I love me some internet, especially Myspace and Livejournal. I created that profile on Vampirefreaks.com, but it seems like Vampire Freaks, while it is a great place to find good music, is mostly full of vapid and vain people just whoring themselves out for ratings. The whole goal I guess is to get a bunch of people to rate you as a ten or whatever. I don't really care. I just like finding Industrial music on there: )

Phil and I went to Applebee's last night to meet Boden and Davenport for dinner. Haven't seen either of them in a long time and we had fun catching up and talking. I got the new three course meal for $9.99, which was awesome cause it was so much food and I still have left overs even after eating some for lunch today. For my appetizer, I got cheese sticks with ranch, which were delicious. Then, for the main course, I got the Oriental chicken salad, and for desert, I got the Chocolate mousse, which was fabulous and I wish I had the room to eat it all. After that, we headed home and watched some tele. I went online for a while, did some work, and mainly visited youtube: )

We really need to go grocery shopping. I have decided to re vamp my spending and budget, and I started this by cutting up my two remaining credit cards. It felt great to be rid of them, as I can't seem to control myself when it comes to my little plastic friends. I typically have roughly $105-$110 left over out of my regular paychecks once I pay our main bills, so I am going to send all of that to each credit card every month. I can have one paid off in 8 months, and the other paid off in 15 months. I have not included my bonus checks in this, which could speed the process up even more. After that, I will have the two loans to pay off, and then, I will be debt free. Yay! So, the big bummer of this decision is that I won't be going out...at all....but I think it is a fair trade as I would like to be able to have fun without being in debt eventually. I hope all my buddies understand: ) I even called Comic City and asked them to stop pulling my comics for me...now you know I mean business: )

We will also be eating in everyday, including weekends, and not going out to eat unless Phil would like to go out to eat, and in that case, he buys it. I am cool with staying in, cause that is pretty much what we do anyways most weekends, plus I have many fun forms of entertainment around the house to keep me occupied. We will of course still be inviting friends by for dinner and games, cause we aren't becoming hermits after all. Just no money spending is all.

Well, I think I have rambled quite enough for one entry. Have a great Saturday, and don't forget to watch Nightmare Sinema tonight at Midnight!

So,

This month is pretty huge when it comes to movie releases for me.

July 11th :Hellboy 2

July 17th or 18th: Batman The Dark Knight

July 25th: The X Files 2

and I hope that August 8th actually sticks as the release date for Repo the genetic opera. I can't wait to see that movie!

I found out yesterday that Doomsday comes to video on July 29th, so I added it to our Netflix que. We returned Fear and Loathing in Las vegas on Thursdsay, so I'm hoping we will have the next film in our que, The Signal, by Monday or Tuesday. Has anyone seen the Signal yet? If so, let me know what you thought without ruining the whole movie for me ok?

Yesterday we spent most of the day playing Playstation 3 and playing online. Then around 1:30, my brothers girlfriend called, and they invited us over for dinner. We got there around 5, spent a lot of time talking and drinking down glass after glass of Mountain Dew (I know better than that as I was soon feeling the stomach pain). We had Sausages and bbq chicken. I only had chicken, corn on the cob, and a bean salad that was pretty tasty. Phil was very hungry so he ate two pieces of chicken, two sausages, and corn on the cob. That's right, Phil ate a fucking vegetable! Be shocked and amazed. I hope our kids get my taste buds, that's all I gotta say.

We hung out there till about 9p.m., and then headed home. I soon discovered as usual that nothing was on t.v, so Phil played Oblivion and I played online. I actually headed off to bed early last night, around midnight. I'm trying to get myself more used to staying up later. I love the nighttime, so why not be able to enjoy it more by staying up later and later: )

Well, I think I'm gonna go heat up some leftover little skeazers pizza for breakfast. Have a good day all, and enjoy this nice long work free weekend!

Wow guys, I am totally psyched

For the first time in a long time, I did something with my money other than pay bills and buy lunch everyday.

I bought a killer dress in the Hot Topic clearance section. It was originally $69.00, and I got it for $16.99. I can't wait to get it! It is so pretty, and I will have to give it a grand showing the next time we go out to the club. My hair is getting longer now too, so I can finally try for some Victorian style do's. Yay for fun dress up time!

I also came up with an awesome outfit design in my boredom at work. I have this cool black skirt that I like, but it just doesn't really look great or go with any of my tops. I am thinking about cutting the front half of the skirt off, but leaving the waist so it still goes on like a skirt. Then, I am going to get a short black mini skirt to wear with it, so it's the short mini skirt in the front, and long black ruffled skirt in the back. Then, I am going to wear my awesome thigh high victorian black and white striped tights that Gretchen gave to me (Gretchen you rule) with my knee high black boots. For the top, I will wear either my plain black short sleeved top, or my black tank top. I will then hack up a plain white t shirt, and draw a victorian cameo with spirals coming off of the picture frame on the front. I will cut it so it ties in four places on my back, and sits tight on the front right under my bust line so it wears like a corset. I will then wear black fishnet arm bands that go up to above my elbows, my black cameo necklace with my antique key choker, and my hair in a funky cyberpunk do. Thus, revealing my most awesome steampunk extraordinaire outfit. Yay me.

So yeah, I should crack open my closet and make a bunch of clothing out of stuff I never wear. I need to learn how to sew dude. I could make some kick ass shit.

Night Night all!
Jesse
Hey kids,

What's shakin, besides your bacon? (yeah I know, but I can't help my retarded self)

Today was a long ass day. Scratch that. Today was like being in prison. The air was blasting, because my 400 pound boss can't shift in his seat without sweating his fat ass off. So, here I am when it is humid as hell and 90 outside, having to wear a sweater to work. Must the skinny folk suffer this cold barren waste land? One benefit to the cold would be if my fingers got so cold that they snapped off while I was typing an email to a customer, and I got to leave. I'd just hot glue those puppies back on and be ready for action once again. Who really needed that hand anyway, besides your mom (oh yes, there's more lame ass jokes where that one came from)

I started working on a new story, and it is kick ass. It is a very dystopian future type of story. I only have three pages written, but if you swear not to be a cock and steal my shit, I will send you it to read if you wish. I could use some feedback to tell me whether or not my writing sucks giant hairy balls: )

I am officially obsessed with Repo the Genetic Opera. I watch the trailer at least seven times a day at work (one website our gay internet at work does not restrict is MSN, hence how I get to escape to the awesomeness of Repo at work) I have a ton of the movie posters saved in my pictures at work so I can change the background on my screen each day. Today, I had Anthony Stewart Head as Nathan with his angry face on holding his giant sharp organ extracting device, and next to it, it of course says Repo. I find myself humming the tunes at work, and just thinking about it makes me jolly. I saw online that the new release date is August 8th. God I hope it sticks, because I am going to melt my brain and have it come oozing out of my ears and eyes if I don't get to see this movie soon.

Angelo, a man I work with, who is also a writer(although he writes nice happy stories about his past) read my story, and he did me the honor of saying "You officially scare me now." That made me feel so good: ) Only three pages in, and he is terrified of me. Bwah ha ha. He got a little more scared when I told him I wished I could live in the Dystopian world I had created in my story. I overheard him telling my Sales manager "Andria is such a nice girl on the outside, but on the inside she definitely has a darkness to her". Hell yes I love hearing shit like that. Finally, someone sees through my gross happy face/ugly clothes work personna to the real me. Angelo rocks. I actually edited his book for him, and although it is a happy and sappy story, it is great stuff and I know it will be published. I cut each chapter down into a paragraph for him as well so that it could be turned into a screenplay (nice when your book isn't even published yet and you have people offering to make it into a film). I signed a contract with him, so that when the book gets published, and if it does become a film, I get 2% of the profits. That may not sound like much, but with film and books, that could turn out to be quite a bit. It would be sweet if it all worked out, and I made enough to pay off my debts so that I could actually make a living writing or opening my own store: ) Fun to daydream, sucks to come back to the real world.

Phil is playing Oblivion, and I am of course watching the Repo trailer and looking up pictures of dead bodies on google. There are a lot of gross ways to die from what I am finding out. Tomorrow I have to work 10-3, cause my boss is a douche and decided 11-3 wasn't quite long enough on a fucking Saturday. Thanks bud, I really love 60 hours a week. really, I swear gouging my eyes out with this rusty spoon feels awesome.

Well, just wanted to update my bloggy, as you guys are the only ones silly enough to listen to and read my blather. Goodnight all!

here comes the meat wagon wee ooo wee ooo

  • Jun. 23rd, 2008 at 10:13 PM
Jesse
Well, another long day at the meat grinder. It was busy at first, and thankfully the first hlf of the day before lunch went by quickly. But as is inevitable with everyday, it died quickly coming back from lunch. I found reason to get away from my desk every few hours just to walk around outside and remember that there is in fact still a world outside of my small confined closet of an office.

I'm just happy to be home in my pj's catching up with my lovlies on Myspace and Livejournal. Phil is outside cooking up steaks, and sadly being eaten up by bugs. Usually, I am the one who gets eaten, but due to the many plants and trees surrousnding our house, he can't help but get eaten up as well.

Tomorrow is Hell's Kitcken night. I don't know what it is, but I am hooked on that show. I am excited that Kitchen Nightmares will be back for another season as well, although they have announced it will be on Thursday nights, and I have to work until 9 on Thursdays(insert pout) Hopefully Phil won't mind taping it for me so I can watch it when I get home: )

I can't wait for the weekend to get here. Even though we typically just stay in, I love not having to be at work, and being able to wear what I want and do my hair and makup like I want to. Working in an office does have the perk of higher pay, but you give up a lot of freedoms as well. Ah well, I did the math, and if I keep making the size payments I make now on my cards and loans, and don't use the cards, I can have my debt paid in three years. I was happy to see that an end to the bills is in the not too distant future, and it gives me a goal: ) Perhaps once everything is paid off, I can find a cool job working in a comic shop or something along those lines. I wish I had the money to start my own shop. Although, I believe I would be the first person to run a shop involving skulls, magic supplies, comic books, swords, and cool clothes and kewelry. I would have the coolest store in town. What should the name of this store be you ask? Well, Deathwish's of course. What else could it possibly be named? hee hee

Well, I am off to watch the news and talk with my darling. Have a good night all, and merry nightmares to you!

Ah, the weekend. I love it, as I'm sure many of you do as well. This week was rather tiring, so I am glad the weekend has found me once again.

Last night, got home from work, Phil and I ate yummy pizza from Benito's, and while Phil played Oblivion, I of course found refuge in my beloved Laptop. Myspace and livejournal, I simply could not live without them: )

I then went to Netflix and watched Empire Records. It has been a long time since I have seen that movie, and I had forgotten how much I loved it. The 90's, what a great time period!

Today, woke up around 8, had some chai tea, and have been on the old laptop ever since. Phil has been playing Oblivion since before I got up. He is stuck on one quest, and is getting more and more frustrated. He is very cute when he gets flustered. hee hee

We finally get to go out to Dragon's Crossing today and pick up his lovely swords. It has taken them a long time to get here, and even if he hides it very well, I know Phil is excited.

I discovered an awesome new musician on Myspace music. Her name is Kerli, and she is from Estonia. Her first cd will be coming out July 8th, and it is the first cd in a long time that I have been really excited to go out and buy. Please check out her songs on Myspace because they are awesome! I have one of them as my profile song, and I love it!

Tomorrow will more than likely be the day I get house cleaning done. The bathroom desperately needs some TLC, and the rest of the house just needs a quick once over as I keep it up throughout the week. I can't help it. I hate cleaning that bathroom so much, that if I just cleaned it more often, it would probably be just as easy as cleaning the rest of the house. Ah well.

Well, I better go start getting ready as Phil wants to be in Taylortucky by 1. Have a lovely day, and I'll be back later I'm sure for more fun and dead things!
Jesse
Hey kiddies,

Billy, stay away from that foot now.... I said stay away Billy. It looks like the fish and sea creatures have already taken their portions, and now the seaguls have made a mess of the bloody stump floating along the ocean shore.

Sun, listen to me, and listen carefully. I want you to go away, to another solar system, and let the earth go into a dark and icy winter. Buildings will become ice castles, and humans will set each other on fire to eat the only meat left on the planet and to keep warm if only for a moment.

The moon is beautiful, shining in the dark black sky. I wish that darkness would swallow me whole and show me the dark places I've dreamt about for nights on end. I would emerge from that black abyss and my eyes and lips and hair would be as black as midnight, and my touch would cast a dark web of rot and decay. I would smile as the water shrank back, and in it's place black ooze thick as blood began to creep up onto the land and swallow all those who walk the earth. It would coat them in the void, and they would emerge as beautiful dark creatures of the night. The earth would die and shrink, and we would expand upon the universe to spread our death and disease.

Dancing in the graveyard, leaving flowers on the stones, snapping shots of cold limestone and granite. Gracefully dancing over the dew covered grass, and dodging the skeleton hands reaching up from under the ground. Be patient darlings, for my dance will bring you to the surface, and you will have your vengeance upon the living. Taste their flesh and live again. Leave me an open spot to crawl into, and do not wake me from my sleep.

Yeah, don't even ask. I just typed whatever came to mind, and my mind is fucked up: )

Rainy day

Man, this weather is something else. Friday I had to run home from work to turn the air on, and when I got to the house, my back was completely soaked. (My lovely vehicle does not like to let the air conditioning work). The cats were pissed when I walked in the door, as it was a tad bit uncomfortable when I got in. I tried to savor a few moments of the sweet cool air before getting back in the heat wagon and going back to work to be smelly and uncomfortable for the last hour and a half of the day.

I met with my new General Sales manager Friday morning, and for once, I feel as though I am not crazy. Everyone basically doesn't get how much work I have on my plate, because naturally, they don't have to do my job and know nothing about it, so why would they? Anywho, he pulled me in and realized my work load is way too high for one person, and he intends to meet with the owner and recommend that each of our three stores has a sales person dedicated to just internet. I would still make the initial contact with the customers and do the reports for the higher ups, but I wouldn't have to worry about the follow up with the 600-700 customers per month. So, if this guy can actually make these changes happen, it looks like he just saved himself an Internet Sales manager. If not, well, there are plenty of office jobs in the sea, and this fish can do a damn good job at any of them.

This weekend has been great. Phil and I stayed in all weekend, basking in having Central air for the first time. Our house is clean, all of our stuff has pretty much found a place, all thanks to my wonderful pookie. We watched Eragon, as that was the next film on our Netflix list, and it was very good. I loved the cute little baby dragon. It was so squishy and cute: )

Now I have spent most of the afternoon watching King of Queens as I have the whole series: ) My husband loves me, ah yes, he loves me lots

I am kind of bummed that the weekend still managed to go by so quickly, but I am looking forward to this coming weekend. Our friend Gretchen from Comic City is getting married, and her reception is this Sunday. I can't wait to buy her an awesome gift and go have some fun: )

Well kids, that is pretty much it in this ladies life. How are you all doin?Tell me whats been up, and best wishes to everyone for a good week! May it go by quickly so we can get back to really living it up on the weekend!
