So, have you ever noticed how listening to J POP can make the world seem like a better place? I love listening to it and feeling like smiling and dancing: )
I just spent a good portion of the morning on Netflix adding new Anime to the list. Looking forward to seeing it all, and so happy to have a place like Netflix which makes it all available. I am sad that no Sailor Moon is available on Netflix. I think I'll have to go to Ebay to have my Sailor Moon: )
Bastet my sweet baby girl is cuddling on my lap. I had to move slightly, and she gave off a cute little kitty grumpy sound. Ha ha. Then she took a deep breath and fell back asleep. Life as a cat must be awesome: )
I'm doing better than I have been in a long time, but then again, by being laid off, I had the good fortune of having the one negative in my life eliminated. I am making a good $500 less per month on unemployment, but I can still afford to pay my bills which is all that matters. Just more eating in and not going out as much, which is fine with me cause I am more of a homebody anyway. I cashed in my 401K though my old work, so I paid off a credit card and one of my personal loans. I then put $300 into savings, which means now I only have one credit card with a balance and one personal loan. The nice thing is that I signed up for unemployment insurance on my personal loan, and so they are going to take care of my payments including interest for up to 12 months or until I find another job. Which means that the $224.41 I normally pay to that each month will be going to the remaining credit card with a balance, paying that off and making me an even happier lady woot woot: ) It took a lot of hard work, but I'm glad I'm where I'm at financially and not debt ridden like so many people I know.
It has also been really nice to be able to be home and get the house in better shape. With both of us working 60 hours a week, house cleaning usually fell to the side. But now, our house looks great yay!
Well, I'm off for more Twitter fun. I think that has become my new favorite site: ) Here is a happy pic to make your day a little nicer!

Ah what a lovely day. It is cloudy and rainy and the air smells so nice and fresh, and it isn't hot, and the sun isn't out. I wish everyday could be like this. Then I would spend a lot more time outside: )
So far this has been a very easy going sort of day. Woke up around 9, had a bowl of Raisin Bran with a big mug of chocolate milk, and watched The Nightmare Before Christmas.
In an attempt to have our house smelling more and more like Earth Lore, I have been lighting incense everyday. It smells so nice and pretty in here.
Right now I'm doing a load of laundry and cleaning the kitchen while watching Labyrinth. I know I know, I just saw it at the theater this past weekend, but I'm in the mood for some Fantasy films, and this and Legend are my two favorites: )
This nice cold mug of Dr. Pepper tastes so good: ) I love Dr. Pepper.
So yeah, that's pretty much my day. Hope you are all enjoying this beautiful day, and I'll be back later for more fun!

Today was a great day: ) But, everyday away from my old job has been great too: ) I decided that today I would start re watching Charmed. I got through the first two discs of season one, and then hoped in the shower and headed off to the grocery store. Kroger is having some awesome 10 for $10 deals now through the end of the week, so I figured I'd stock up while the goods are cheap and that way I can stay fed and comfy in my hermit hole: ) I love being at home. I love that I have the time to take care of my home and make it look great everyday. I'm so happy to be able to relax and enjoy each day for a change: )
Tonight Phil and I watched Zombie Strippers, which is a great funny movie and I think everyone should see it! Tomorrow we should be getting the next disc of Trinity Blood, which is a great anime if you haven't seen it yet: )
Right now Phil is playing Lego Batman and I am of course doing what I do best, keeping up with my multiple social networking sites: )
I'm thinking tomorrow will consist of starting the day out with Repo the Genetic Opera, followed up by the usual bowl of cereal for breakfast, and then followed up by cleaning the kitchen: ) Yes, rough times I know: )
The title of this entry pretty much sums up my day thus far. I woke at about 8:30a.m., and treated myself to the last of my Frosted Flakes while watching one of my favorite movies, Practical Magic. Friday the 5th was my official last day at work, and since then I have been playing the part of housewife while I wait for my first unemployment check to arrive. My first call to MARVIN is Tuesday the 16th, and then I should start having money direct deposited to my checking account. It is so strange waking up each day and not having to rush off to work. At my job, I worked 60 hours a week, plus I worked after hours and on the weekends from home, so now not having to do that is such a relief to me. I guess I will get my two weeks vacation after all: ) I feel so relaxed and refreshed since leaving that place. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and I wished for change so badly in my work life. I am so thankful that change came, because that job made me completely miserable. I hated it, and I hated going to it everyday. But, I had responsibilities to pay my bills and to my husband to carry my half of the bills, and so I went. Now I am applying for work, but in a different field entirely. I would love to be able to work in child care again. Being around the children was always so happy and refreshing: ) My resume is out there, I guess I'll just have to wait and see if I get any takers: ) Michigan is overflowing with people out of work, so I know I will more than likely be waiting a while. But, as I said before, everything happens for a reason, and hopefully my path in life will lead me to something more positive and fulfilling: )
For the time being, I can make my house look fantastic for my husband and I to enjoy. Sure, I still can't cook worth a damn, but I can clean it like a pro: )
Well, I wish all of you the very best, I hope all is well in your lives, and join with me now to say GO RED WINGS! Bring that Stanley Cup home to Detroit tonight!

So, this past week at work went by pretty fast. I had a revelation while there. If I am ever going to sell any cars, I will have to call the customers myself and get appointments, because apparently Salespeople are even too lazy to make a phone call. Ah well, just makes me look better when comparing my lead to appointment ratio anyway. I just wish someone would come in that we could sell a car to. Everyone is either bankrupt or in large amounts of debt so their credit sucks, or they are laid off, or better yet, they don't have a job and expect a bank to finance them for a vehicle. I am so tired of people getting mad at me when we can't get them financed due to their credit or debt level. It isn't my fault you are irresponsible and can't control your spending. I didn't get you in the situation you are in. Stop living beyond your means. I can see if you lost your job and then fell on to hard times. That is soemthing you couldn't help, but to everyone else who bought that house they didn't need, or bought all those cars and clothes and shit they didn't need, I have absolutely no sympathy for you. I myself was in a huge amount of debt just a short while ago. I never got pissed at anyone else or asked for a fucking handout. I accepted that I put myself in that position, and that I myself would need to change if I ever wanted to live differently. You know what I did? I stayed home, didn't go out to eat, never bought myself anything, and paid it off. What a concept right? Yes I know, it sucks not being able to have a life, but when you make a choice to max out your cards and over spend what you have coming in, you also need to realize that you are going to have to live with the consequences. I am not a bitch or an idiot or stupid for not being able to get a bank to give you money. The bank is being smart, considering you haven't proven yourself thus far of being able to pay back your debts. Also, don't get pissed when everyone gives you a super high interest rate or wants a bunch of money down. You should be thankful they are even loaning you the money. Besides, you want a low interest rate and zero down? Pay your bills on time, live within your means, and be a responsible adult! Until you can do that, say hello to 20%+ and at least $3,000 down if not more.
Anywho, enough venting about work. It is the weekend damnit, and this is happy time: ) Speaking on a personal note about debt though, I am so fucking proud of myself. I can go out and do things now, we can go out to eat. I can enjoy life and not have to worry about sending every cent off to credit cards. But, even with all this extra money, I am being good and staying within my means. Yeah, I rock at being an adult now: )
I got my commission check the other day, and decided to go to Blockbuster to treat myself. They have the 2 for $10 and 2 for $20 sale going on right now, so I scored big time on some great movies! Here is what I got:
Zack and Miri make a Porno
feast 2
Repo the Genetic Opera
Doomsday
Igor
Babylon A.D
Wanted
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Cloverfield
Versus(this was only $4 woo hoo)
Nick and Norah's infinite playlist
Ironman
Hellboy 2
They had Twilight, but I want to wait and buy the super collectors edition one so I can have all of the special features. I have a perfectly good burned copy to hold me over until then: )
Last night I got one of my movies from Netflix: Tokyo Gore Police. Very strange, and not much in the way of plot, but it had lots of weirdness and gore and violence, so I liked it. The picture of the girl above in this entry shows one of my favorite scenes from the film: ) I love alligator girls with man eating boobs: )
Next up, I should be getting The Machine Girl, another ultra violent and gore filled movie from Japan. Ah yes, the Japanese know how to do it right: )
Tonight, Phil and I are going over to Joy and Larry's to watch my Sis in Law Chaiya. Not sure what the plan is yet, but I'm sure it will involve junk food for dinner, and perhaps if the weather is nice, maybe we can go go karting or putt putt golfing or something: ) Now I have to decide whether to wear my Team Edward t shirt or my I love boy that sparkle t shirt.
I have been finding lots of cool pics online for Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). I would love to go to Mexico to take part in this. It is so awesome! I also want to learn how to make sugar skulls. They are so cute and I bet they are yummy: ) Now that we have cleared off the porch, we are thinking about making that area of the house "Halloweentown", so what better for Halloween town than a Dia De Los Muerto's alter hee hee

So, at the moment, life is very good, and I hope yours is too. Never forget to live it fully, and don't let yourself get bogged down by all of the negative crap out there. You can get yourself out of any situation, no matter how bad it may be, through positivity and will power to move forward.I know, that sounds like a cheesy motivational tape or something, but it is true: )
and now, just cause I love her, here is Nixon Suicide, because whats a day without Nixon?

Hey everyone!
Hope you are enjoying this Saturday as much as I am! This weekend is off to a great start, and there is still the rest of the night and all day tomorrow! Woot!

Yesterday was exceptionally slow and dull at work, but luckily I had my music to help me zone out. One good point about yesterday was on my lunch break while eating french toast at Rams Horn, I noticed a sign for the metaphysical shop next door, Mystical Resources, saying it was going out of business. I had only been in there once before, but once I saw their prices I decided not to go back. I think I see why they are going out of business. So, I finished my yummy french toast, and made my way over to the store. I was the only customer, and I slowly made my way around the store three times to take everything in. Right by the front door, they had a beautiful Egyptian vase. I knew Phil would love it, and it was originally $85, but had dropped to $25! How could I pass it up? So, I bought the vase for my darling husband, and made my way back to work. I am gonna have to hit that place up again once I get paid again to pick up some stuff good and cheap: )

After work, I headed to the Plymouth Library to see if I could pick up my book, Voices of Chernobyl, but sadly, the library closed at 6. I decided to pick up some chips and salsa and candy at CVS, as I had planned on that being my dinner. I also enjoyed some great music on 88.1FM the escape. If you live in Plymouth, check that station out. They play great music, and I caught it when they were playing post punk bands. I heard a great one, I believe called The Riffles. They just released their first album in the states. I'll have to try and find it, as it sounded awesome: )

After that, I came home, watched Dr. Phil (I was just waiting for Ghost Whisperer to come on), and then I watched another great episode of Ghost Whisperer: )After that, Phil and I watched Ghoulies, hilarious by the way, and then we pretty much crashed. I seriously think we went to bed at 10:30p.m. Ha ha, we are so lively.

This morning I got up at 8, made myself a cup of tea, and played online while watching the news. They were mostly just repeating the same news from the night before, so I mostly ignored it. After that, I got in the shower, got dressed, and headed to the Coffee Bean for a delicious Chai Tea. This time, I decided to get a chai tea with soy milk. It was so good! I got a large, and I am happy I did because it made my day: ) I listened to Jem on the way to work, and then listened to Enigma while I was at work. It was very uneventful again, except that our Finance Manager who is quite the drama queen finally kept true to his many words and quit today. Yay!!!!!!!!! I am glad he is leaving, because all he ever did was complain and whine, and that really gets to me. After work, I headed to Fantastic Sams to see my girl Ashley. She did my eyebrows, and she is the only person I ever want to do them as she does such a great and thorough job. After that, I went back to the library, and joy!!!! I got my book! I have always had a strange fascination with Chernobyl, and now I get to read about it from the victims point of view: )

So, since about 5, I have been in my jammies, watching Buffy and eating Chips and salsa with a nice mix of gummy bears and sour gummy worms. I know, breakfast of champions right? ha ha. I have had a few glasses of water, but I'm really debating having another nice warm yummy cup of tea. Tea is one of my many joys in life: ) Tonight I may have to take a power nap as Nightmare Sinema will not be on until 2a.m. in the morning! I can't believe I will be up until 4a.m. Yikes

Tomorrow, I will more than likely wake to a cup o tea, news, and internet time. I have to clean I have to clean I have to clean. Maybe if I keep chanting it, I can force my body into action. This aint pretty kids. I'm two seconds away from paying a maid $100 to just clean my house for me as I am yes...that freaking lazy: )

Well, I think if you are reading this, you are beyond bored, so I'll cut it off here. I hopeyou all have a lovely weekend, and enjoy your time relaxing!

Do you ever stop and realize just how great your life is?
I am in love with my best friend in the whole world, and we have been happily married for almost three years now. We have been together for almost seven years, and this is the happiest seven years of my entire life. I love him so much, and I feel lucky everyday to have him. I believe in destiny, and I believe in soul mates, and he is my other half. I can't help but feel that we kept running into each other and became a part of each others lives for the specific reason that we are meant to be together.
I can only hope that everyone gets to experience happiness like this. It is a blessing, and now instead of dreading each day like I used to before Phil, I live each moment fully and happily: )

Buy me a bottle of Absinthe! I will love you forever and ever!
That was what my husband said last night as he watched Gossip Girl with me. I received the 4th disc of season one from Netflix, which of course was fantastic and the show just keeps getting better and better. He liked it, he says, but he also says it still isn't as good as 90210. Speaking of 90210, looks like that show will be starting up again on January 6th. Looking forward to see what drama will be taking place: )
Yesterday I spent most of the day outside at work brooming off cars and shoveling snow so that we could move cars around once we had plowed the front half of the car lot. So, I was freezing my arse off, wet, and hoping that we don't get that big storm on Sunday so we have to do this all over again on Monday. The cool thing was that because we had to be in at 8 instead of 8:30a.m., I didn't dry my hair, and I just threw on my jeans, a few hoodies, and my Chevy Traverse hat. I brought a change of clothes with me, but decided that since I had to be outside all day, I wasn't changing: ) It was cool wearing my jeans all day, and everyone loved my knee high black Volatile boots: ) Too bad the poor things eventually gave in to the massive force of the mounds of snow I had to walk through and now they are soaked: ( Hopefully they dry out so I can wear them, as the only other shoes I have are sneakers and loafers for work.
We also rented John Tucker must die from Netflix, which I started watching last night and then gave in because I feel asleep. I watched about 30 minutes of it, and found it to be quite funny and amusing, so I will watch the rest of it this morning so we can ship both back and get our next two Netflix selections: )
I feel like an old lady, but my back is killing me, my arms and legs are sore, and my head is stuffed up. Arg. This is why I need to start exercising again. A day of physical exertion and I'm feeling like I have been hit by a truck: )
Today, I really really want to just do nothing but eat some breakfast, cruise my many social networking sites, watch the rest of my movie, and then really get some housework done. I hate when the house is in disaray. It drives me crazy: ) Besides, I want to make sure the bedroom is in order as we are getting our new bed tomorrow! I am excited, as my husband and I have been sharing a twin bed for nearly 7 years now. It is not a bad thing, because we are both thin and it is fun to snuggle up close, but the twin has been bad news for my back and made it hard for me to get a full nights sleep. I hope this new larger bed will help out:)
Phil has an eye doctors appointment at 3 and then he wants to go to Target for a few last minute Christmas gifts. I still need to do a bit of Christmas shopping myself, and sadly, I only have $60 some odd dollars to do it with. I hate not having much money at Christmas time. I want to be able to buy people really cool stuff, but find myself getting restrained due to budget. If I could just win that damn lottery.....
I think I might stay here instead of going with him as that will make it so I have to be at the house cleaning it. I have my lazy twin in my mind who always tries her damndest to talk me out of cleaning. It will be a battle between us as I really don't feel great anyway: )
Tomorrow if weather permits, my parents are flying in from Florida so they can be with the family for our Christmas Eve celebration. We are meeting them around 3:30p.m. at Ruby Tuesdays along with my brother and his girlfriend. Monday and Tuesday I will be meeting with my parents for lunch, and then I don't have to work on Christmas Eve, so I am going to breakfast with my mom and Aunt Sharon. Phil has to work until 2 on Christmas Eve, so I will be with them until he gets home, and then I want to make sure I am here when he gets home so we can open our gifts for each other: ) I already gave him one gift early. I gave him Mortal Kombat VS. Dc Universe, which he really liked: ) Can't wait to show him his other presents. He already gave me The X Files: I want to Believe. You all know I loved that: ) hee hee Christmas Eve we are going to my Aunt Sharon's in Wayne for dinner, and then afterwards, we may spend the night at Joys so we can all wake up together on Chritsmas morning for presents at her house: ) I am so excited for Chaiya to get her gift. She is going to freak out: )
Well, I am going to go get some breakfast and check out Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace. You guys all have a wonderful day and a great weekend, and I'll be enjoying reading all of your entries!

Well, another weekend nearly over, and it has been much enjoyed by myself and my lovely husband.

Friday went by rather fast at work, which I was thankful for, and when I got home, I had delicious Thanksgiving turkey and stuffing left overs while watching Friday Night Smackdown with the hubs. It was rather entertaining. There wasn't much on after that, and as Phil retired to the back room to play Starcraft, I decided to read for a short while before calling it a night. I started re reading "Ground Zero", an X Files book I read way back in Freshman year of high school. I remember having it with me in Cancun when I went with my parents there for spring break. As they sun bathed, I went to the beach in jeans and a t shirt, and wore a hat under the umbrella with my shades, my virgin Pina Colada, and my lovely book. I hate the sun and I hate hot weather, so Cancun was a very epic fail situation for me. I am very thankful for my parents showing me so many places though. They took me on many lovely trips I of course did not appreciate and did many things for me I took for granted. Thank you mumsy and dadsy for making me a cultured individual.

Anywho, Saturday was the last Saturday of the month, so I had to work. We were open from 11a.m. until 3p.m., and sadly, even up to $9,000 off of a brand new car couldn't get people to come in. We could have closed hours early and I fear no one would have noticed. No one except perhaps the owner as I'm sure she drives by to make sure we don't close early. After that, I came home, changed into my comfy jeans and a tshirt, ate the last of the stuffing, and proceeded to watch tv/movies or play online.
Today I woke up and got right online, and somehow, between livejournal, myspace and facebook, as well as youtube and google, I managed to waste 8 hours away online. This laptop is very addictive. Even when I feel myself getting very hungry, it is hard to pull myself away. I am addicted to my social networks. My name is Andria, and I am a happy addict: )

After many hours of Phil watching Babylon 5 and my online obsession, we watched Feast, and then Land of the Dead. I just love zombies so much. They are so cute in a disgusting and rotting sort of way: )

Now, Phil is playing Soul Caliber 4 on the PS3 while we wait for the Unit to start. Great show! If you haven't seen it yet, give it a watch.

Well, after the Unit, I'm sure I will be heading to bed to either read for a bit or go right to sleep to be fresh for yet another full week or some work and much time trying to look busy. That's a hard thing to do in a dealership right now, I tell you!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend, and I've enjoyed spending time catching up with all of your posts!

Ah Saturday, you truly are my favorite day of the week!
I love sleeping in, making a warm cup of tea with warm crunchy buttered toast, and enjoying them while keeping up with online friends and watching cartoons. This is the life I tell you.
Yesterday I got up at 6:30a.m. as I always do to get in the shower and get ready for work. One problem though. I quickly learned that I wasn't well and was very sick. I won't go into details, but I will say it wasn't pretty. I went back to bed and re set my alarm so I could call my Manager when the store opened. I called, passed on that I wouldn't be in, he transferred me to my Sales Associate, who I also informed I wouldn't be in, and then I cranked up the computers to get started on working from home. We only got one or two leads for the Dodge and Chrysler and Jeep store, but we got about four or five for the Chevrolet store. I called it quits at about five as I had a bad headache and still felt like crap, and went back to bed until Phil got home around 6:30. Yesterday I filled time with not only work, but of course online fun and watching movies. I was in a girly movie mood, so I watched:
Sex and the City
Serendipity
Knocked Up
Bewitched
I love the movie Bewitched. I know it is beyond corny and ridiculous, but sometimes, you need that kind of cheese puff movie to make you feel good. Besides, I adore Nicole Kidman's wardrobe in that movie. She looks like a little cream puff. I want those clothes!
Last night, Phil and I ended up watching The Price is Right and Super Manny. Both were fun and entertaining in their own ways. We ended up going to bed around 10:30p.m., and then I slept in until 9. I am so proud of myself. I am going to watch a little more telly, and then when Phil goes for a massage at noon, I may get started with some cleaning around the house. For now, I may go grab my Addams Family show dvds and pick up where I left off with that show: )
Well, have a great day everyone, and relax and enjoy your time away from work!

Well, this has been a very nice relaxing weekend
Friday seemed to tae forever at work, but that was just because we were slow and everyone was in grumpy mood. Everyone except for me that is. The night before was my birthday, and my cute husband took me to dinner and gave me the complete series of Invader Zim. I was so happy. I was supposed to work until 9, but lucked out when my boss came by and said I culd take off early for my birthday. Because of this Phil did not have time to wrap my present, so he made me do this adorable treasure hunt for my gift. He would say hot or cold when I got close or far away. It took me a while, but I found it: )
Back to Friday, after work I headed to Arby's to get us both dinner, and we watched Hellsing Ultimate volumn two and the movie Candyman. I had never seen it before, and I really liked it. I will have to get itto add to our immense horror collection. We went to bed around 10:30 because we had to get an early start Saturday.
Saturday morning I got up at six so I had plenty of time to shower and get ready. After that, I quickly wrapped Joy my mother in laws birthday gift, checked the internet leads for work, and watched the news while Phil started getting up and about. We headed out around 8:15a.m. to go to Kroger, as we wanted to bulk up on snacks. We bought a ton of food, and after a quick stop for a few more snacks and gas, we headed to Joy and Larry's house. Chaiya had a Tae Kwon Do tournament Saturday, and I was so excited as they usually fall on the last Saturday of the month when I have to work, so I was thrilled I got to go. It was very fun to watch, and Chaiya did great. She got first place in forms, and gotfourth place in sparring. We headed back to Joy and Larry's around 3:30p.m., and while Phil was helping Joy with a pamphlet for Girl Scouts, I was watching Animal Rescue Detroit with Chaiya and Larry. It horrifies me seeing what people do to these poor animals. I can't imagine hurting a poor innocent animal.
When Phil was done, we headed to Boston Market for dinner. I got te last of the Sirloin, and it was deeelicious. After that, we came home, I played online, Phil fell asleep, and I slept on and off waiting for Nightmare Sinema to come on. Last night they played Castle of Blood, which was good: ) Nightmare Sinema is something I look forward to every weekend. Everyone is the Mtero detroit area should watch it!
Today, my cat Bastet woke me up by clawing my face to get petted at about 6:30, so I got up, got myself a Granola Bar and some Dr. Pepper, and started watching the news. I watched various forms of the news until 10:30, and then I made my way to the bedroom to start cleaning. I cleaned most of the day, and around 3:30 I headed out to Wendy's as I was starving and Phil wanted some Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers: )
Now, we are relaxing on the couch, and I am playing online while Phil watched Babylon 5. I may shortly hop in the shower so tht I am clean and ready when The Unit comes on tonight. Phil has got me watching that show now. I like it, it is good: )
Well, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and here's to hoping this week goes by quickly so we can get to the next weekend: )
